The Price of Independence

Independence

We say it. We love it. We celebrate it. But do we know what it really means?

As American’s and network marketers we sometimes take our independence for granted.

A lot of people forget that independence comes with a price.

George Washington and the others who signed the Declaration of Independence shed blood for the independence of the colonies — now the United States of America.

They didn’t have health insurance
They didn’t have  trash service
They didn’t have an upline…!

Some of these people laid down their lives so that we could be free. They realized there is a price to pay for freedom and independence and they gladly paid it.

Rosa Parks declared her freedom and independence when she refused to sit at the back of the bus because of the color of her skin. She was willing to pay the price for independence. Her fight helped change our civil rights laws and made us the strong country we are today. Diverse and united. Independent and free.

YOU declared your desire for freedom and independence when you started your network marketing business. Starting is the most important part… but understand it’s not the only part.

You have to fight.  Just like Washington and Parks.

There is a price to pay for independence. No one is going to just give it to you. In fact, there will be many who will fight against you.

You have to start.
You have to go to work.
You have to put your reputation on the line.
You have to  fight when others challenge your resolve.
You have to stick it out.
You have to pay the price.

It’s work, but it’s worth it. Oh, is it worth it.

The money — true residual income… as much as you want.
The time — to do what you want, when you want, with whomever you want.
The independence and freedom —  the life you deserve.

Independence Day is not just a day for a bar-b-que, a fireworks display and a keg of beer. It’s a celebration of the fight. It’s an awards banquet for our country’s achievements.
